Event: Capital City Cleaners’ Gathering for A Clean Atmosphere
Description: City cleaners of the capital city Dhaka in Bangladesh and
their family members gathered in the street with a demand for a clean
atmosphere to the world chanting the words that ‘We Clean the World, You
Clean the Atmosphere’. They came to the street with their brooms, and
hoisting those brooms, cautioned the countries polluting atmosphere that
those countries’ stubbornness would be cleaned up by global public
opinion. They demanded for a real deal in Copenhagen to clean the
atmosphere and keep our world livable. Youth in Action on Climate with
cooperation from Oxfam International organized the event to mark the
Global Day of Action.
